Zynga, FarmVille, and Facebook have teamed up with Save the Children this holiday season to support kids in the United States. By contributing, $10, $15, 0r $20, you can help provide healthy snacks, stock a library, and help fight poverty. 100% of the proceeds go to the Save the Children fund. As a gift for your generosity, you will receive a Teddy Bear tree for donating $10, a Holiday pony for donating $15, or the green peppermint crop for donating $20.
Please note that there are several “Tax” issues appearing for some users, in all reality, if you want to donate for the holidays, you can do so DIRECTLY to Save The Children or heck, just toss a dollar in the red can in front of your local Walgreens or Walmart. You know, the people ringing the bell? Don’t let Zynga tell you one thing when something else may be going on in the background.
